# Introduction
Gate for AI is a crypto-native infrastructure for AI Agents, connecting AI Agents to the Gate cryptocurrency trading ecosystem through standardized MCP (Model Context Protocol) and CLI tools.
It adopts a four-layer architecture:

Step 2 — Try It Out

Step 3 — Enable Trading
Switch endpoint from /mcp to /mcp/exchange to unlock 400+ trading tools:

- For Remote MCP, OAuth2 triggers automatically on first trading tool call, browser pops up authorization page
- After authorization completes, auto-connects without manual API Key entry
- No need to create API Key or copy-paste
