Canada approves the first spot XRP ETF in America.

Canada has just become the first country in North America to approve the spot XRP ETF. This fund is issued by Purpose Investments – an asset management company based in Toronto – and will be listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) on June 18 with the code XRPP.

The ETF will come in three versions: CAD convertible with (XRPP) hedging, non-(XRPP hedging. B) and USD (XRPP version. U). The product is eligible to be held in registered retirement accounts such as TFSA and RRSP.

Purpose is also the first issuer of a spot Bitcoin ETF in Canada. This move comes as many companies in America are still waiting for the SEC to approve the XRP ETF.
