Iran's Foreign Minister: Has never requested a ceasefire or negotiations and is willing to discuss the security of the Strait of Hormuz with specific countries

Gate News Report, March 15: On March 15 local time, Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian stated that Iran has never requested a ceasefire, nor has it requested negotiations. Abdollahian also said that Iran is ready to engage in dialogue with countries willing to discuss the safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz. Currently, several countries have contacted Iran to ensure the safe passage of vessels, but the final decision rests with Iran’s military forces.
