#币安HODLer空投MMT Grayscale's new move: DOGE ETF fee rate is set at 0.35%, what does it mean?

Recently, the crypto space exploded - Grayscale officially announced the management fee for its DOGE spot ETF: a 0.35% annual fee rate. This number seems ordinary, but the signals behind it are not simple.

Let me start with a comparison: BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF charges 0.25%, while the more volatile and higher-risk DOGE is only 0.1 percentage points more expensive. Traditionally, funds charge significantly higher fees for high-volatility assets. What does this pricing strategy reveal? Either Grayscale is seizing the first-mover advantage in the meme coin space, or they believe the long-term value of DOGE is underestimated.

To be honest, the ETF matter is indeed a turning point for DOGE. Once the compliance channel is opened, those pension funds and family offices that were previously hesitant to touch cryptocurrencies due to compliance issues will now have legitimate allocation tools. Not to mention retail investors—they won't need to deal with wallets and private keys; they can buy directly through brokerage accounts.

Elon Musk hasn't been idle either. If Tesla really integrates DOGE into its payment system (although it hasn't been officially announced, there have been rumors), combined with this ETF, the potential is off the charts. It took Bitcoin over a decade to go from a geek toy to a standard asset allocation, but DOGE is clearly moving much faster.

On-chain data is also interesting: in the past week, large addresses collectively increased their holdings by over 4 billion DOGE. These whales are not here for charity; they are clearly betting on the influx of funds after the ETF approval.

Of course, it's indeed magical that a meme coin that started as a joke has come this far. But that's how the financial market works—narrative, consensus, and liquidity, when all three are in place, miracles can be created. As for whether it can break 0.5 dollars or even higher? The market will provide an answer, but at least the current situation looks much better than it did six months ago.
