#美联储降息 Bitwise recently released a prediction for the crypto market in 2026, and it's quite explosive.

Let's start with the most eye-catching: Bitcoin might really break the four-year halving cycle. In the past, after halving, the market would fluctuate accordingly. Now, it's different — whales in ETFs and various institutions are officially taking over the pricing power, pushing Bitcoin from a "dark horse asset" to a "mature asset." The outrageous part is that volatility could be lower than Nvidia's. Do you believe it?

How fierce are the institutions? ETF buying demand could directly surpass 100% of the new Bitcoin supply. What does this mean? Mainstream coins like $BTC, $ETH, and $SOL might be fiercely bought up. Ivy League endowments can’t sit still—they have to get involved. Crypto is shifting from an "edge asset" to a "must-have asset," and this has been happening over the past two years.

The US is moving even faster. Breaking 100 crypto ETF products is just a matter of time, and the on-chain treasury size is doubling. The so-called "ETF 2.0" is already quietly making big profits. If the CLARITY Act passes, $ETH and $SOL could hit new all-time highs — that’s quite possible.

On a global level? Stablecoins are starting to be singled out — developed countries believe they undermine emerging market currencies, which could become a new geopolitical focus. Prediction contracts on platforms like Polymarket are also reaching new highs, and crypto-native applications are eating into traditional finance territory.

But reality always loves to pour cold water. How much can regulation loosen? Can institutional funds continue to flow in? And what about those black swan events no one can prevent? Can $BTC truly decouple from the US stock market and move independently?

The crypto world in 2026 will indeed be different. The question is: are you ready?

Institutional takeover of pricing power? Well, do retail investors like me still have a way out? --- 100% of the new supply is being snatched up. Is that true or false? --- I didn't expect volatility to be lower than Nvidia's; that turnaround was a bit sharp. --- The focus on stablecoins becoming a geopolitical hotspot is fresh; I hadn't thought that far ahead. --- The key still depends on whether the CLARITY Act can actually pass; right now, it's all about ifs. --- I need to survive until 2026 to see that day. --- Ivy League funds are also jumping on board; this time, the fundraising institutions are indeed different. --- Black swan events can't be prevented, honestly. --- Is BTC decoupling from the US stock market? I feel like it will still follow the trend. --- All this just to get in? Are you all ready to get cut?

Is institutional bottom-fishing really that fierce? Why do I feel this wave isn't much different from the last EFT hype... I'll wait until CLARITY passes before making a move.

nah the "btc lower volatility than nvidia" take is where bitwise lost me tbh. institutional flows are real but decoupling from equity markets? come on, we've seen this copium before. client diversity in validator sets matters way more than etf inflows imo

Less volatile than Nvidia? Haha, let's wait until institutions actually step in, for now it's still retail investors setting the price.
