I’m max biding $zama with my NFT OG. This probably the 1st big win in 2026.
3 months grind ended up with 3 @zama OG NFTs, so I actually get to see how $ZAMA sale works from the inside.
They’re selling 10% of supply (11B cap, so ~1.1B tokens), with
– 8% via a sealed bid Dutch auction
– 2% as a follow-up fixed price sale at $55M FDV for Zama NFT claimer
Zama’s good tech that whole thing is FHE aka compute on encrypted data. So for everyone join auction that “sealed bid” is literal.
Your quantity is encrypted using their FHE flow, so nobody can front-run or anchor off your size, and bids clear from high to low to find the clearing price.
Timeline they’re pointing at
– bidding window: Jan 12 to 15
– clearing: Jan 16 to 19
– claim: starting Jan 20
Mechanically you “shield” stablecoins into a confidential token format first, then bid with that.
As I already claimed 3 OG pieces, so I can buy $600 to fill my whole $ZAMA allocation at $0.005 per token.
What an insane entry as $ZAMA trades around $600M to $800M on Polymarket.
Friendly reminder that buying the OG NFT on secondary does not give you the $55M FDV allocation.
So if you’re thinking to buy the golden ticket, you’re probably just buying the “empty shell”.
What is transferable is the 5% auction bonus, and it’s capped to 1 NFT per wallet.
Ok bull case time, what should to be know if joining the sale
– $ZAMA is usable right after claim (fees, staking, delegation)
– 100% of protocol fees get burned, and staking is part of securing the network (burn + stake incentives)
– private rounds valued Zama at $1B+
– the sale is “fair” in a way crypto rarely is imo
My thought on the sale:
– these sale tokens are 100% unlocked at launch, so expect real sell pressure and real volatility
– if you’re public auction only, don’t get baited into paying the VC story.
– I’d treat $600M to $800M FDV as the “reasonable” zone and ladder bids accordingly
– this is a Dutch auction, so overbidding just means you might get filled higher than you needed
Anyway, Zama has strong long-term thesis of what they are building and privacy being main 2026 narrative but dont confuse with buy any price at TGE.
Math it out and see if this sale actually fattens your bag.
