Have you recently felt that the market direction is a bit blurry? Maybe this is the calm before the storm.

The consensus among industry institutions is quite consistent: we are standing at a critical crossroads. The "casino-style" operations that rely on storytelling and short-term hype are fading out, and the market is beginning to reprice—projects with real utility and cash flow will be revalued, while purely conceptual ones will become less popular.

There is an even bigger variable at play here. Fidelity's research shows that sovereign nations like the US may establish Bitcoin strategic reserves, and listed companies are also continuously allocating—what does this change mean? Bitcoin is evolving from a "cyclical speculative asset" into a "strategic asset." If this logic holds, the traditional four-year cycle pattern may be broken, and the market could enter a longer-term "slow bull" phase.

Looking at it from another angle, by 2026, it will no longer be about who has the bigger guts, but who sees clearly and holds steadily.

This also reminds us that value itself is multi-dimensional. While pursuing financial asset returns, some projects and communities are doing something else—providing free education and promoting social improvement. This "social utility" is also a deep form of value. Only when more participants realize this will the market's maturity truly advance to a new level.

honestly the "strategic asset" angle is where it gets interesting... my students keep asking me why institutions suddenly care about governance instead of just pumps, and truthfully? this reframing changes everything about how we should be thinking rn

I've heard the term "silence period" too many times... It's true, but every time it's just waiting in vain. Bitcoin as a strategic asset is indeed interesting, but will the country really take action, or is it just another round of hype? Pure conceptual projects are indeed doomed, but don't try to fool me with talk of social utility; in the end, it's all about the returns.

Silent period? Bro, I think it's just the prelude to harvesting the little guys. When the big move happens, they'll be left behind already.

Bullish market? Sounds good, but how many can truly hold steady? --- The story is over. Now it's time to look at cash flow. This transition is quite significant. --- If the strategic reserve really happens, the overall pattern will change completely. --- For 2026, it's about betting on vision. So right now, we need to hurry up and catch up on our lessons. --- Social utility is indeed easy to overlook, but in the long run, we can't rely solely on speculation. --- Silent period? I think it's more like a shakeout period. Keep a steady mindset. --- Transforming speculative assets into strategic assets—if this logic is to hold, the cycle theory really needs to be rewritten. --- Projects still telling stories now are probably going to lose half of their value.

per my analysis, this "strategic asset" thesis is taxonomically incomplete. fidelity's research is solid but data suggests the four-year cycle breakage narrative is being oversold. let me pull up my spreadsheet...
