I recently heard an interesting sound. U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessant has been advocating for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates quickly, and his attitude is quite urgent. What did he say? In an interview, he stated that only by lowering interest rates can we achieve strong economic growth — this sounds like he's giving the Fed a task.

Bessant's logic is actually easy to understand. He believes that the last missing piece for economic growth is for interest rates to go down. He also emphasized that the Federal Reserve should not delay this matter any longer.

What's more interesting is that he also mentioned the prospects for 2026 in his speech. Bessant said that next year we will see the "returns" of a series of policies implemented by the current government — including last year's tax cuts, trade agreements, and deregulation efforts. This official packaged this entire set of policies into a "priority agenda," claiming that these measures have laid a solid foundation for economic growth.

It is worth noting that Bessant himself has been involved in the selection process for the Federal Reserve Chair candidate. The outside world has also observed that he has repeatedly echoed calls for rate cuts. The logic behind this is clear: policymakers hope to further stimulate the economy through rate cuts. For those paying attention to macroeconomic trends, the Fed's next move could influence the entire market's liquidity pattern.

Coming with this again? The Treasury Secretary is pressuring the Fed to cut interest rates. Isn't this just trying to shift the blame for economic growth onto interest rates? That's really interesting.

Here we go again, thinking that lowering interest rates can save the economy? Dream on, haha.
