Walrus Protocol, a decentralized storage solution in the Sui ecosystem, has recently attracted considerable attention, primarily because it has designed a revenue model that combines node mining with deflationary empowerment.

In terms of participation methods, the project offers two paths. Users with technical backgrounds can directly deploy storage nodes to participate in mining—earning rewards by providing stable storage services to the ecosystem, with returns positively correlated to node stability and storage capacity. For participants who do not want to handle operational complexities, delegating WAL tokens to quality nodes can also earn annualized dividends of 15%-22%, making it a passive income option.

More notably, the token's deflationary design is worth highlighting. Storage payments within the ecosystem and governance voting incur transaction fees, which are used to burn WAL tokens. In theory, as storage demand increases, the amount of tokens burned will gradually rise, reducing circulating supply and supporting the token's long-term value.

From a market stage perspective, Walrus Protocol is still in the rapid ecosystem expansion phase. Whether considering the returns from node deployment or the long-term value expectations of the deflationary token model, current participation has strategic significance. Of course, all Web3 projects carry risks, and participants should have a clear understanding of their own risk tolerance before engaging.

15%-22% annualized? That sounds pretty impressive. Will this coin still be around next year?

15%-22% annualized? I’m done, that number sounds like a story.

It sounds like the story of an annualized return of 15%-22% again. This deflation narrative feels so familiar to me.

Annualized 15 to 22, sounds pretty good, but I don't know how long it can last...

15%-22% annualized? It looks pretty good at first glance, but I feel the deflation logic is a bit idealized... Can it really take off?

15%-22% dividends sound good, but I always feel that such promises tend to be exaggerated.
