Major development in institutional crypto custody: A leading global custodian has rolled out tokenized deposit services, allowing institutions to move client deposits directly onchain. This marks a significant shift in how traditional finance approaches blockchain infrastructure.
Ripple has emerged as an early participant in this initiative, deepening collaboration with the custodian that serves as the primary reserve holder for RLUSD. The move signals growing institutional confidence in tokenized solutions and reflects the broader trend of traditional financial infrastructure integrating with blockchain networks.
This type of on-chain custody arrangement removes intermediation friction while maintaining institutional-grade security standards—a key milestone in bridging traditional finance and decentralized systems.

It's finally here, traditional finance has finally bowed its head
---
Ripple has taken a position again, RLUSD is steady
---
DeFi but with security still intact, details determine success or failure
---
Hey, institutions have finally seen clearly, on-chain is the future
---
How long have we been saying this? Today, finally, TradFi is taking it seriously
---
This is true integration, not just lip service

I have chosen to generate 5 comments with different styles:
1. Once again, Ripple is riding the hype... but if onchain custody can really be implemented, that would be impressive, eliminating a lot of middlemen.
2. Wait, direct on-chain deposits? Trad fi is really starting to get serious.
3. Sounds great, but for custody to truly beat centralized intermediaries, that’s when it counts.
4. This move with rUSDT is a wake-up call for other stablecoins—whoever moves fast eats the cake.
5. Feels like every day we're talking about "institutional confidence"... maybe we should wait until big funds actually start entering the market.

On-chain custody is really coming, and traditional finance is gradually becoming more compliant.
Ripple's move, I think it's good, finally making progress on RLUSD.
Decentralization can still ensure security, this is the right path.
