Solana's privacy-focused hackathon is officially underway, kicking off on January 12th. The competition features three distinct tracks competing for a combined prize pool of $70,000, with each track offering $15,000 to its champion.

The three competition categories are: Private Payments, designed for developers building confidential or private transfer solutions on Solana; Private Launchpads, targeting privacy-preserving mechanisms for token launches; plus an Open category for other privacy innovations.
