Recently, I have been researching a very interesting project—the Walrus Protocol, and I want to share with everyone this new player building data infrastructure for the AI era.

Currently, data volume is exploding, and storage issues for AI datasets, NFTs, large files, and others are becoming increasingly prominent. The need for security, efficiency, and low cost has become the industry's core pain point. The Walrus Protocol is addressing this problem, positioning itself as a decentralized storage and developer platform.

Why is it worth paying attention to? Mainly from a few perspectives:

First, precise positioning in the market. It is not just a pure storage protocol but directly targets the "AI era data marketplace development platform." This means it hits the high-growth tracks of artificial intelligence and decentralized physical infrastructure networks simultaneously.

The technical foundation is also solid. Built on the Sui blockchain, leveraging its high speed and low fees, it provides a reliable infrastructure for storage services.

In terms of token economics, the utility of $WAL is quite clear—paying for storage fees, maintaining network security through staking, and participating in community governance. Especially, the protocol's planned deflationary mechanism, which burns part of the transaction fees, leaves room for the long-term value growth of $WAL.

The ecosystem is also steadily progressing. Overall, Walrus still has many highlights in the AI + storage combined track.
