Niu Technologies recently announced a series of strategic plans for 2026, including brand revitalization, capacity expansion, product development, and channel building, aimed at strengthening market competitiveness.

Brand Marketing Activities

On January 30, 2026, Niu Technologies officially announced actors Wu Lei and idol Song Yuxi as the global brand ambassadors, simultaneously launching a brand refresh campaign with the slogan “I, I want Niu,” targeting Generation Z. This move aims to enhance the youthful image and increase market influence.

Capacity Expansion

On the same day, Niu Technologies announced a third round of funding for the Changzhou Xitai Lake facility, adding an annual production capacity of 1.5 million smart mobility units. Once fully operational, this facility’s annual capacity will exceed 3 million units, with an expected output value of over 10 billion yuan. This capacity boost aims to support global market expansion and supply chain optimization.

Product Development Progress

Niu plans to launch five major series and nearly 20 new national standard products in 2026, including platform upgrades and new design series, in response to the new electric vehicle standards implemented in December 2025. The company had previously released 19 new products in 2025 and accumulated over 800 patents, continuously focusing on intelligent and safety technology upgrades.

Company Business Status

As of September 30, 2025, Niu’s domestic store count reached 4,542, covering first to fourth-tier cities, with ongoing efforts to improve conversion efficiency through online traffic. The company expects to further strengthen its channel network to support sales growth.
