Oracle (ORCL) stock price surged by 15% after announcing its third quarter earnings report, surpassing analyst expectations. Oracle reported earnings of $1.79 per share and revenue of $17.19 billion, exceeding the previous estimates of $1.70 and $16.9 billion respectively. Its cloud business revenue reached $8.9 billion, and infrastructure sales amounted to $4.9 billion. Despite a significant increase in capital expenditures (reaching $8.5 billion last quarter), Oracle has raised its revenue forecast for 2027 to $90 billion.
