Celebrity Selling | Tang Wen-leung's Daughter Sells Hong Kong Red Hill Peninsula Again for 20 Million
The second-hand property market is booming, and celebrities are accelerating sales to cash out. A unit in Red Hill Peninsula in Tai Tam was sold for HKD 20 million; it is understood that the seller is Tang Wenliang, daughter of Ji Hui Group’s CEO.
Market sources indicate that Unit A on the mid-level of Tower 3 in Red Hill Peninsula, with a usable area of 1,013 square feet and two bedrooms, was originally listed at HKD 23 million including a parking space. It was eventually sold for HKD 20 million without the parking space, with a practical price per square foot of HKD 19,743.
Data shows that Tang Wenliang purchased four units and six parking spaces in Red Hill Peninsula in 2015 for a total of HKD 85.725 million. She later increased her holdings with two more parking spaces in the same estate. These properties were listed for sale in April 2023 for over HKD 125 million, later reduced to HKD 102 million. By the end of last year, she sold one unit for HKD 19.38 million, and recently sold another unit, totaling HKD 39.38 million in cashing out.
After a series of sales, Tang Wenliang now only has two units and five parking spaces in Red Hill Peninsula remaining for sale.
