CryptoWorld reports that according to 1M AI News monitoring, local large model running tool Ollama announced today that it has officially become an official model provider for OpenClaw. Users can connect by executing openclaw onboard --auth-choice ollama, and all Ollama models will seamlessly collaborate with OpenClaw. This integration offers a “Cloud + Local” hybrid mode, allowing users to use both Ollama’s cloud-hosted models and locally running models simultaneously. OpenClaw’s guided wizard will automatically detect locally installed Ollama models and support streaming and tool calls via Ollama’s native API. OpenClaw founder Peter Steinberger participated in the review of this integration.
