UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism: UAE Has Coordinated with Gulf States to Open Air Corridors

On the 3rd local time, the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism announced that the UAE has coordinated with Gulf countries to open air corridors. Currently, 48 flights per hour can be operated to ensure the continued functioning of the economy and tourism activities amid the current regional situation. Capacity can be gradually increased based on the development of the situation and safety assessments. The UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism emphasized that the UAE has sufficient reserves of essential goods and strategic stockpiles of key commodities to meet domestic demand for 4 to 6 months. Meanwhile, the UAE Civil Aviation Authority continues to monitor and assess the situation, promoting the gradual recovery of airspace and air transportation. (CCTV News)
