On March 20, the Zhanjiang Regulatory Branch of the National Financial Regulatory Administration disclosed administrative penalty information showing that Sunshine Agricultural Mutual Insurance Company Zhanjiang Branch engaged in the following major violations and irregularities: fabricating rice insurance coverage area and premiums; duplicate insurance on the same plots; using business convenience to obtain improper benefits for other institutions; paying cooperation fees to personnel who did not provide agricultural cooperation services. The company was fined a total of 720,000 yuan by the Zhanjiang Regulatory Branch of the National Financial Regulatory Administration.
