March 12 News: The latest data shows that XRP Ledger (XRPL) accounts for over 15% of the global on-chain tokenized goods market, ranking second worldwide. Although overall cryptocurrency prices have performed poorly this year, the practical applications of tokenized goods continue to grow, with XRPL benefiting significantly.
According to RWA.xyz data, since the beginning of the year, the total value of new on-chain tokenized goods worldwide has increased by approximately $3.4 billion, with the total market cap rising from $415.1 million to $754.2 million. In this growth, XRPL contributed $102.9 million, accounting for one-third of the global increase. The value of tokenized goods on the XRPL platform has surged from $11.1 million at the start of the year to $114 million, mainly driven by Justoken’s JMWH energy products and Ctrl Alt’s diamond products, with JMWH tokenized megawatt-hour electricity valued at $861 million and Diamond products valued at $279 million.
The overall crypto market remains volatile. Since the beginning of the year, the total market cap has declined from $2.93 trillion to $2.35 trillion, a loss of over $589 billion, with XRP contributing approximately $27.58 billion. Despite price pressures, institutional adoption and on-chain applications continue to grow strongly, especially in the field of tokenized goods, indicating persistent market demand for practical use cases.
Currently, XRPL accounts for over 15% of the total global on-chain tokenized goods, second only to Ethereum. Ethereum holds $5.4 billion worth of tokenized goods, mainly from Tether and Paxos Gold products. XRPL’s rise reflects its ecosystem’s rapid development in energy and physical asset tokenization, providing investors and institutions with more actionable on-chain assets.
Overall, XRPL has solidified its position in the global on-chain tokenized goods market and highlights the potential of crypto assets in practical applications and institutional adoption, offering strong support for future price trends and ecosystem growth.
