Memories.ai Completes $16 Million Funding Round, Partners with NVIDIA to Build AI Visual Memory Layer

Gate News Report, March 17 — AI visual memory startup Memories.ai announced a $16 million funding round led by Susa Ventures, with participation from Seedcamp, Fusion Fund, and Crane Venture Partners. The company also partnered with NVIDIA to leverage NVIDIA’s Cosmos-Reason 2 visual language model and Metropolis video search platform to build visual memory infrastructure for wearable devices and robots. Memories.ai was co-founded in 2024 by former Meta Ray-Ban glasses AI team members Shawn Shen and Ben Zhou. The company launched a large visual memory model (LVMM) in July 2025 and partnered with Qualcomm to run the model on Qualcomm processors later this year.
