Proposal to limit fees below 1sat/vB
Bitcoin Core developer @peterktodd stated that the default transaction fee rate limit of 1 sat/vB no longer aligns with the current price level of Bitcoin. He plans to submit a PR to Bitcoin Core and cites the broadcast delay data from today's block 904,864, pointing out the impact of low-fee transactions on network efficiency, and calls for an adjustment mechanism to better adapt to the market.
It doesn't matter, the fees will all be below 1 Sat in the future.
