Plume, the first permissionless full-stack blockchain platform designed for real-world asset (RWA) finance, announced a collaboration with Ernst & Young (EY) Blockchain Division to deploy the Nightfall privacy protocol on its network. This move not only provides dual assurances of privacy and scalability for institutional-grade asset tokenization but also marks a key step for Plume in advancing the global compliance process and cross-border blockchain financial practices.

The Nightfall protocol is led by EY in its development, and its latest version Nightfall_4 (NF_4) adopts zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) technology, supporting private transfers of various token standards such as ERC20, ERC721, ERC1155, and ERC3525. It packages transactions through ZK-ZK Rollup, achieving privacy while ensuring efficiency and scalability.

Nightfall's expansion to Plume reflects the ongoing emphasis by global institutions on privacy, security, and compliance in the RWA tokenization process.
