Another stablecoin payment player has secured a large funding round. This Hong Kong-based fintech company specializing in payments has just completed a $107 million Series B financing.

The investor lineup is strong—Goodwater Capital led the investment, with well-known institutions like Pantera Capital, Blockchain Capital, and Circle Ventures also participating. Interestingly, the previous major shareholder HSG (formerly Sequoia China) continued to increase its stake, indicating their continued confidence in this project.

This funding round was entirely equity financing, and the company did not disclose a specific valuation. However, based on the amount raised and the investor composition, this project has indeed attracted considerable attention in the stablecoin payment sector.

The market for stablecoin payments is becoming increasingly competitive, with various players vying for a share. This funding trend also reflects ongoing capital interest in Web3 payment infrastructure.

Sequoia continues to increase its investment. Honestly, this track is getting a bit crowded now.

actually, if you run the numbers on stablecoin payment infrastructure... the unit economics don't quite check out. $107m for what, exactly? without the valuation it's impossible to calculate the actual dilution ratio or assess whether this is priced at a 3x or 8x multiple from their last round. classic move hiding the real story in plain sight.

Another funding news to cut the leeks, Sequoia is still adding investments haha Stablecoin payments are really everywhere now, it only works if this thing can be implemented in practice Wait, who is this Hong Kong team? I've never heard of them The payment track has become so competitive that even raising over 100 million dollars might not be enough to succeed

Another new payment star in Hong Kong? Sequoia continues to increase its investment, what does that indicate... --- Stablecoin payments really are getting competitive; it seems like everyone wants a piece of the pie. --- Is $107 million really worth it? Without a valuation figure, it still feels like something's missing. --- Goodwater, Pantera, and a few others invested together; their lineup is indeed strong, but I wonder if they can make it work. --- Hong Kong payment team? I'm a bit curious which company it is; they're very low-key. --- Is Web3 payments still this popular... I'm still thinking about compliance issues. --- Sequoia continues to invest, so this isn't just a simple funding news; it probably indicates solid fundamentals.
