Tether) has led an $8 million funding round for the payment infrastructure startup ‘Speed(’. The investment also included participation from ‘Ego Death Capital)’. Speed is developing a global real-time payment system based on the Bitcoin Lightning Network and stablecoins, and is known to support BTC and USDT directly.
