ZKP is launching on a major spot trading platform. Behind it stands zkPass, an ambitious project dedicated to building the Verifiable Internet. Using zkTLS-based oracle technology, zkPass enables users to generate cryptographic proofs directly from their private web data—a breakthrough for privacy-preserving verification. This development marks another step forward in making zero-knowledge proofs accessible to mainstream traders and DeFi participants.

zkTLS oracle is truly impressive, but will privacy proofs really become widely adopted... feels a bit uncertain.

Is zkTLS really reliable, or is it just another wave of hype and promotion?

From a technical perspective, the zkTLS solution indeed addresses the core pain point of privacy verification, but I am more concerned about—how does this thing perform in large-scale applications? According to research, the computational overhead of zero-knowledge proofs often becomes a bottleneck in practical deployment. Notably, there is currently no sufficiently convincing performance data comparison in the industry.

zkTLS is really impressive; it directly generates proofs from private data without needing to trust a third party. Privacy protection has finally made some progress.

zkTLS is indeed interesting, but where is the real arbitrage opportunity? Just go live with spot trading, the key is whether the liquidity is sufficient to support the spread...
