2025 is indeed a lively year in the market. The stock market swings between 3000 and 4000 points, gold has risen from 2600 to 4300, and recently silver has been on a high, hitting new highs.

With so many market movements and such beautiful trends, many people still come to me complaining: Why am I still losing money?

If you lay out your trades, you'll find an awkward truth — you haven't actually ridden a full wave of the trend. You want to exit as soon as the trend starts, panic when it dips, and only realize you've already exited when the trend finally moves smoothly.

Seeing the right direction? That's not hard. The real skill is being able to follow the trend.

**What exactly does trend trading make money from?**

Many people, upon hearing about trend trading, immediately think: I need to ride the entire big trend?

But those who have actually tried know that this idea is too naive. Most of the time, trend trading involves small losses or near break-even.

A reliable trend system doesn't aim for a high win rate, nor does it expect to win every trade. Its logic is actually like this: lose a little, lose a bit more, lose a few points, and then when a big breakout occurs, it can recover all previous losses in one go, ending up with a positive account balance.

This is the real essence of trend trading.

Exactly right, it's a mindset issue. Most people fail due to a lack of patience.

That hits too close to home. I'm just that fool who wants to run as soon as the market goes up.
