Policy makers are pushing an ambitious agenda: expanding stock market participation across America. Currently, roughly 38% of the population holds no equity positions. The push? Driving that figure down to zero—getting every American invested in stocks. It's a bold vision for democratizing wealth-building through market participation, reflecting a shift toward broader financial inclusion. Whether this translates into concrete regulatory or tax incentives remains to be seen, but the direction signals a major policy focus on closing the equity ownership gap nationwide.

Here comes another trick to fool retail investors into the stock market. I see through this scheme.

This guy just wants all Americans to get on the bandwagon and trade stocks, and 38% of people haven't even entered the market yet... From a quantitative model perspective, once this policy is implemented, retail funds entering will form a clear bottoming pattern, but a risk warning to everyone, historical data tells me that in 2000 and 2008, it was also a time of "democratization." Is this another prelude to a wave of wiping out retail investors? The Federal Reserve has already been doing T, and now retail investors should also stay active, waiting to take the hit. The so-called "financial inclusion" is actually just about drawing more people's hard-earned money into the market... From a macroeconomic cycle perspective, such aggressive policies often indicate that problems have already been seen from above.

38% of people don't play stocks. Does the policy aim to bring this number down to zero? Sounds good, but what about the tax incentives that can actually be implemented?

Here we go again, this set of "全民炒股" rhetoric... really thinking retail investors are all just leeks.

Uh... forcing everyone into the stock market? That logic is a bit extreme. Who's going to bear the risk?
