Prediction market platforms are seeing intense competition right now. While some early players have built solid foundations, newer entrants are gaining traction by prioritizing user experience—smoother interfaces, faster load times, and more intuitive design.
The gap in user interface quality between established and emerging platforms is becoming a real differentiator. Users increasingly expect seamless navigation and clean design from Web3 applications, especially when dealing with complex financial instruments like prediction markets.
As the sector matures, we're likely to see the platforms that invest in frontend development and UX polish pull ahead of those playing catch-up. The competition is pushing the whole category forward, which is ultimately good for adoption.

To be honest, the interfaces on the old platform really need to be improved; they are painfully slow. The good thing about new projects is that at least they are easy to use and provide a great experience. UX can truly determine success or failure. Web3 is so complex yet still so cumbersome; anyone using it is just being naive.

Old platforms really need to do some serious self-reflection. Who would use a UI this laggy?

To be honest, those old platforms are really starting to fall behind now, with UI still stuck in the last generation.
The new team directly outperforms them by simply simplifying things.
This is what Web3 should look like.

To be honest, the outdated interfaces on the old platform really need to be improved. With such a poor user experience, how do they expect to retain users? New projects at least put effort into the interface.

tbh this whole "UX matters" thing is pretty surface-level take... like sure, smooth UI looks nice but have you actually analyzed the transaction costs? most of these platforms are gas-inefficient nightmares, demonstrably wasting user capital on bloated contract calls. the real competition should be on optimization, not just prettier buttons

Honestly, old-established platforms are now relying on their reputation. With such a poor UI, do they still expect to win effortlessly?

Basically, UX has become the new arsenal, and established platforms are really starting to get nervous this time.
