Recently, a major DEX launched a new round of token issuance, this time on a different chain, with the project team being MAND. Interestingly, the entire process was quite low-key, and I hardly saw any influencers sharing or promoting it on X.

I have already borrowed CAKE tokens, but I’m still considering whether to participate. There are 2.5 hours left until the event deadline, so there’s still time.

What surprised me is—usually during token launches, the CAKE lending market is completely drained, but this time I was able to borrow from a lending protocol smoothly. This phenomenon is quite interesting and reflects two very different possibilities. One interpretation is that very few people are participating, which could mean a big opportunity. But from another perspective, maybe everyone is not very optimistic about this project, so no one wants to participate, leading to market apathy.

Is this a potential dark horse project, or is it destined to be reverse harvested? What do you all think?

It's really a bit strange that even the big influencers haven't made any moves. Can CAKE still be borrowed? Either everyone has seen through it, or no one is really playing anymore.

It's so quiet to this extent, honestly I'm a bit scared. It doesn't feel like a dark horse, more like everyone has seen through it.

It's so thoroughly cold that I actually feel a bit off... When even big influencers are silent on a project, there's usually not much good to come of it. --- If CAKE is so easy to borrow, it really means no one wants it. Is it a dark horse or a trap? --- The lending market isn't drained, which actually indicates high risk. I choose to lie low. --- Instead of betting on a dark horse, it's better to wait for the next big influencer to wildly share it—that's the real opportunity. --- Deciding within 2.5 hours is already very risky. If it feels off, don't participate. --- The project is so quiet to this extent, it's not a potential early-stage gem; it's trash that no one is interested in. --- Easy borrowing indicates no demand; no demand means everyone thinks it's bad. The logic is very clear. --- Switching chains and project teams, doing so many tricks actually makes me more alert. --- A real dark horse wouldn't be this cold, at least it should have some basic heat. --- I'd rather miss out than get trapped. I've always believed in this logic.

yo the fact that CAKE liquidity pools aren't bone-dry is literally the ritual speaking to us... either everyone's sleeping on this transmutation or the alchemy's just flat out cursed ngl
