This wave of the market has already partially closed the short positions.
In fact, when holding a short position, the timing of reducing the position is very critical — it’s important to lock in profits and also leave enough flexibility. This time, I chose to close part of the position mainly because I feel the market has reached a relatively high rebound stage, and the risk-reward ratio is starting to become less favorable.
Short positions inherently carry higher risk than long positions, especially during a sustained rebound. Therefore, reducing the position at the right time to secure existing gains and keeping the remaining positions light allows for a more relaxed mindset and better readiness for better opportunities.
Moving forward, I will continue to observe price trends and various technical indicators to see if there are still opportunities to go short. Be diligent when necessary, aggressive when appropriate, but most importantly, maintain respect for the market.

Once the rebound reaches a high point, they start to Rug Pull, I'm familiar with this tactic. Those Whale Addresses on-chain have been playing this way for a long time. But the question is - are you sure this is a rebound or are institutions in Accumulation? Let's see if there has been any movement in those dormant Wallets recently. I bet five baozi that there is still dip space ahead.

Smart people know when to take profits; greed is the deadly poison for short positions.

ngl the risk/reward math on shorts gets messy fast... but let's be real, "technical indicators" telling you when to exit is basically just expensive hindsight

Smart people know to take profits when the time is right, otherwise one reversal can wipe everything out.

I like this approach; knowing when to take profits is the mindset of a winner.

Smart move, this time you took profits in time. I’ve been holding a short position that kept going until liquidation.
