When it comes to platform governance, I'd rather back someone who believes in keeping the doors open to diverse viewpoints—even ones I fundamentally disagree with—than side with whoever pushes for stricter content controls.

It's a tough call, but censorship concerns matter more to me than whether I align with someone's politics.

What started as a niche debate has now spread across the entire spectrum. Everyone seems to want their opposition silenced, but that's exactly the opposite of what Web3 should stand for.

Well said, this is what Web3 should look like. Compared to those who are always thinking about silencing others, I still believe in those who are truly open-minded.

Openness does not equal disorder, but censorship is indeed more dangerous than openness...

Really, open speech space is more important than siding with anyone... Isn't that what Web3 should be about?

Let me see the data... These statements sound ideal, but in practice, who is really doing it? Most projects ultimately are controlled by interest groups.
