A certain DeFi project's vault product has gone through some twists and turns, and the funds have finally returned to the account.
Initially invested 17450, peaked at 17500, and the current position value is 17461. To be honest, it did make a profit, but the margin isn't large.
Let me explain to newcomers: SLP is actually a Vault, which is a vault product. These kinds of assets are inherently risky and are not guaranteed to make a profit—similar to the vault models of some leading exchanges, which fluctuate with market conditions.
The vault's income mainly comes from two sources: liquidation fees from market making and a share of on-chain transaction fees. That's why sometimes the returns are stable, and other times they stall. When the market is good and trading volume is high, the fee sharing increases; during slow market periods, the earnings naturally shrink. When choosing such products, be mentally prepared for short-term fluctuations as the norm.

Wait a minute, 17450 in and 17461 out, how much was the fee? Let's check on-chain, the flow of funds behind this 11 dollar profit is a bit strange...

As long as the money comes back, that's fine. Don't think too much about it. Anyway, that's how the vault is. When the market is good, you earn some fees; when the market is bad, just lie flat.

After all that effort, I only made 11 bucks. The return rate is really average.
How to put it, vaults are really about luck. When the market isn't good, it's really hard to see gains.

After all that effort, I only made 11 bucks. What kind of return is that? Haha
