The two videos that have been circulating in the community group these past two days really sent chills down my spine.
In the first video, two shop owners were just arguing when suddenly one of them rushed back into the store, grabbed a knife, and without saying a word, started violently attacking the other. The one being attacked was almost severed at the hand but endured the excruciating pain to rush back for a knife, wanting to fight back. Fortunately, people nearby held him back tightly and quickly took him to the hospital; otherwise, it's hard to say what would have happened.
The second one is even more terrifying. A passerby walked past a barbecue stall, and the person eating there had a bit to drink and said something, not knowing what they were saying. The passerby directly turned around and kicked him, and the two got into a fight. Before long, the person eating barbecue was dead, and the passerby even turned back to kick him a couple more times.
It really feels like many people nowadays have explosives in their hearts, ready to blow up at any moment. When going out, you really have to remember to "be a little cowardly, for safety's sake"; you never know what the person across from you has recently gone through or how tightly their emotions are frayed. In this world, sometimes taking a step back isn't cowardice, it's clarity.
