Each contractor receives a Rise ID, a self-sovereign professional identity on-chain built using ERC-725. These IDs let users maintain work history and certifications, plug into dapps, start pay schedules, initiate payments, and withdraw funds securely.

➢ Security is critical here because Rise IDs contain sensitive information, and by building on Arbitrum, Rise leverages Ethereum’s security infrastructure.

➢ Arbitrum’s rollup technology batches multiple transactions and submits them as a single transaction on Ethereum, which allows Rise to process high volumes of payroll transactions efficiently.
