The reason is that a vulnerability was encountered when releasing a new version, which Google has confirmed and is currently addressing internally. The new version of Trust Wallet introduces a feature designed to help reimbursement applicants submit verification codes through the extension, aiding in better verification of affected users’ wallet ownership, thereby distinguishing legitimate users from hackers/scammers.
