45-year-old Edison Chen looks so mature! Is it a face value collapse or what?

Just saw some candid photos of Edison Chen skiing in Japan, I was truly stunned!

Is this the same Ryo Takahashi from "Initial D" who was insanely handsome back then? Deep wrinkles at the corners of his eyes, his beard has turned gray, it's hard to believe!

Some say the male idol's looks have completely fallen apart; being this old at 45 and still looking like this shows a lack of self-care. Others think he's just living honestly; compared to those starlets who get Botox and fillers to stay young, this authenticity is actually rare.

Has he completely given up on his appearance, or is he just at peace with it? He once said that people will age as they get older; if you're not aging, then it's suspicious.

And since having his daughter Alaia, he's been spending every day drawing and skateboarding with her, turning down many commercial gigs, focusing all his energy on family. When would he have time to worry about anti-aging?

In my opinion, celebrities are just human too. Do they really need to maintain a look of a twenty-year-old in their forties?

But to be fair, compared to his peer Nicholas Tse, his condition is indeed quite different!
