ngl, calling it "infrastructure" now is kinda generous... technically speaking, most implementations are still demonstrably inefficient at scale. if you analyze the actual transaction throughput data, we're nowhere near optimized base layer performance yet. the hype cycle just moved goalposts, that's all.
