After the shift in US regulatory policies, PwC increases investment in cryptocurrencies
According to PwC CEO and Senior Partner Paul Gregs, PwC(PwC), after years of cautious stance, has decided to embrace cryptocurrencies because during Trump's administration, the regulatory environment for cryptocurrencies in the US was more friendly. Gregs stated in an interview with the Financial Times on Sunday that the new leadership of regulatory agencies such as the US Securities and Exchange Commission and new laws like the @E5@Genius Act are among the main factors prompting PwC's change in attitude. He said, “I expect that the @E5@Genius Act and the regulatory rules around stablecoins will boost confidence in these products and this asset class.” He also added, “Tokenization will also continue to develop. PwC must participate in this ecosystem.”
