Good afternoon, brothers. I spent the whole morning getting my glasses fitted. It cost 618 yuan. My left eye is -400 diopters, and my right eye is -300 diopters. My left eye is quite nearsighted. When I entered the optical shop, the staff asked me what I needed. I said I wanted to get glasses. I told them it was my first time getting glasses. A middle-aged lady in her 40s said that for the first time, an eye exam was necessary, then asked how much I planned to spend. I asked them what the most expensive glasses they had were. The lady said a few thousand yuan. I said I’d just get a regular pair for a few hundred. Then I was taken to the eye exam room. The lady kept asking if I could see clearly with this lens or that lens. After the measurement, she let me choose the lenses, pick the frames, and asked if the price was acceptable. I said yes. Then she asked if I wanted to pay via Alipay. I said yes, and I scanned it for 618. After waiting quite a while, she finished polishing the glasses and handed them to me. She told me to wear them more, look at distant objects, and asked if I could see the shop signs and phone numbers across the street. I said I could. Then she advised me to rest more, go out for walks, look at distant objects, avoid playing on my phone all the time, go to bed early, and not stay up late, or my eyesight would get worse. I nodded to her and left wearing the glasses. When I went down the stairs, I felt dizzy, like the stairs were round. When crossing the street, I felt very dizzy wearing the glasses, so I took them off. I just walked home. I think wearing glasses makes me dizzy, so I only wear them when I go out. If I don’t go out, I usually don’t wear them because the moment I take them off, everything around me becomes blurry.
