Here's the catch with no-code applications going truly decentralized: once you shift to local hosting, the whole creator economics model breaks down.

Why? Simple—if developers just release application templates that users download and run locally, there's no revenue stream for the builders. No subscription model, no transaction fees flowing back, nothing.

Instead, users get what looks like a win: grab a template, spin it up on your own machine, and you're good to go. It's freedom. But the question nobody asks is—how do you incentivize the people actually building these things?

It's the same old story—open-source democracy still needs to eat, and this is the real impermanent loss.

nah this is exactly the problem nobody wants to talk about. back in my mining days we had the same issue—build something, share it, watch it die because there's zero incentive to maintain it. gas fees alone killed half my projects before the revenue model even mattered tbh

This is the vicious cycle of Web3: developers give away code for free, users enjoy it, but in the end, who will foot the bill?

Isn't this the old problem that open-source software has faced decades ago... true builders have long since moved on to other tracks.

This is the deadlock of no-code open source. If builders can't make money, who will write code?

nah this is the real recipe problem tho... you can't just serve free appetizers and expect the kitchen to keep running. someone's gotta get compensated or the whole thing spoils. feels like we're seasoning decentralization with broken economics again tbh

This is the classic problem of Web3: freedom and incentives are always at odds.

Oh no, this is the problem—the culture of free riding can't be avoided even in Web3.

ngl, this is the classic problem of web3—who will support those who actually write the code?

This is the old trick of "decentralization" in Web3... giving users free benefits while builders suffer huge losses. To put it simply, it's still a poorly designed incentive mechanism, and a balanced game theory cannot be established at all.
