I just saw that Chen Zhi was arrested in Cambodia and deported back to China.
Although most of his assets have been seized by governments around the world, I really didn't expect him to be waiting to be caught in Cambodia. Falling into Chinese custody is probably the worst outcome for him😂😂😂
Once claiming to have a net worth of over 15 billion USD, despite assets being seized in multiple countries worldwide, a dead camel is still bigger than a horse. He thought that changing his identity in a small country and retiring as a recluse should be no problem. I wonder what the hidden reasons behind this incident are.
Regarding the seizure of Chen Zhi's assets worldwide, besides the 127,000 BTC confiscated by the US, there are also:
✅Singapore: Assets worth over 150 million SGD (about 820 million RMB) seized, including luxury cars, yachts, and 6 properties.
✅Hong Kong, China: Police froze about 2.75 billion HKD (cash, stocks, and funds) in November 2025.
✅UK: 19 properties in London owned by Chen Zhi were frozen, with a total value exceeding 100 million GBP.
The good news is that he probably doesn't have much BTC left, so there's no need to worry about him being caught by China and the government selling his BTC to crash the market.
However, the Prince Group's heinous crimes, especially against Chinese people, are enormous, and he deserves it. He built and operated at least 10 highly closed scam parks across Cambodia, kidnapping tens of thousands of people to conduct telecom fraud and online gambling. At its peak, the Prince Group's daily scam revenue could reach 30 million USD.
The US has classified him as a global threat on par with the Mafia and major international drug lords, calling Chen the "founder of modern slavery."
So today, it's worth celebrating for the Chinese people—a long-standing tumor has been removed. Sometimes, justice takes time, but it always arrives.
