Is the Shanzhai Season really coming?
This question is actually asked every year repeatedly. Recently, Shanzhai projects are flying everywhere, and the market sentiment has clearly warmed up, so many friends are asking: "When will the Shanzhai Season come?" But to be honest—there's only one real reason why you're asking this question: you don't hold the recent rising Shanzhai coins. If the coins you hold have been skyrocketing lately, you definitely wouldn't care about whether the Shanzhai Season is coming or not; you'd only care about: when to reduce your position, and whether it can still rise further.

The core issue isn't about the "Shanzhai Season," but about "you didn't catch the right ones." Many people think: Shanzhai Season = all Shanzhai projects rise together, but the reality is: Shanzhai projects never rise all at once; it's always sector rotation + a few leading projects flying first.
So, when you ask "When will the Shanzhai Season come," essentially you're asking: why aren't the coins I hold the ones rising?

Two most important things when doing Shanzhai projects:
First: Diversify your investments. You can never know in advance which sector will rise first or which narrative will be favored by the market. So, the only correct approach is: allocate a little to the "core leaders" of each sector. When the Shanzhai Season arrives, not all sectors will rise, but there will definitely be rotation.
Second: Only hold mainstream Shanzhai projects that pass the "fundamental" check.
There is a harsh reality in the crypto world: 90% of new projects are essentially fundraising tools. Better to miss out on a sudden surge of trash projects than to hold a heavy position in trash Shanzhai coins.
