After trading for so long, I found that the reasons many beginners lose money are actually the same—lack of systematic thinking, relying solely on intuition and luck. Today, I will organize the core methodology that took me from 10U to 1000U, which is especially suitable for friends who are new to the scene.

**Stage One: Starting from 10U, focus on survival**

In the early stage, the most important thing is not how much you earn, but how to stay alive. Although 10U is small, it’s perfect for honing trading discipline. My approach is twofold: use 5U as margin to open 100x leverage trades, which at most is about 0.3 ETH. The remaining 5U, I call it the "Revival Coin"—if you blow up on one trade, these 5U keep you in the game.

The rules for each trade are very rigid: set a stop loss at 20%, and if you’re wrong, cut it to cover the tuition; set a take profit at 100%, and when you earn, cash out immediately. Many people think this is not greedy enough, but I tell you, small funds are accumulated through repeated small wins like this.

The key is, if you don’t blow up on this trade, once floating profit exceeds 50%, don’t think about making more—take profits first. Greed at this stage is deadly.

**How to set the doubling rhythm**

Win with 10U, turn it into 20U. Then continue using 5U margin to make another trade; the principal turns into 10U. Repeat this cycle: 20U becomes 40U, 40U becomes 80U. If you get three consecutive correct trades, 10U can grow to 80U. This relies on discipline and execution, not luck.

**Stage Two: Starting from 80U, diversify and steadily progress**

At the 80U threshold, you need to adjust your trading mindset. I start to change the single trade margin from 5U to 10U, spreading across eight positions. You can make mistakes up to eight times; even if you hit eight losses in a row, your account just returns to the starting point.

This stage requires a very good mindset. Be steady. Reaching 200U in a month is normal. No need to rush; time is your friend.

**Stage Three: After 200U, accelerate the pace**

After reaching 200U, I switch to ten positions, each with 20U. The advantage is that the account can withstand larger single-trade fluctuations. Even if one trade goes wrong, the overall position can handle it.

When the account reaches around 1000U, you can increase the position size from 20U to 50U. But the core at this stage is still "seeking steady profits," not reckless rushing. Many people get reckless here and end up back at the start—that’s a shame.

**The golden rule of position pacing**

All operations before 1000U revolve around one principle: allocate positions gradually, keep the rhythm, and strictly follow stop loss and take profit rules. Treat yourself as a machine, free of emotions.

After surpassing 1000U, you can try full position trading, but the size must be adjusted flexibly according to market volatility. This is not greed, but risk pricing ability gained through experience.

From 10U to 1000U, it generally takes 1 to 2 months. As long as you don’t mess around, borrow money, or overextend your mindset, this timeframe is feasible.

**Upgrading your gameplay after gaining experience**

Once the system is running smoothly, it’s all about compound interest. Playing with 10U to reach 100U, then 100U to 1000U, and rolling forward, reaching 10,000 or 100,000 is not a dream. It’s just scaling the same logic, adjusting position sizes, but the core discipline framework remains unchanged.

**Finally, the most common pitfalls for beginners**

Full position is a dead end. One blowout and you’re out, with no chance to recover. Many people fall here.

Don’t rush to make money. The market has its own rhythm; you need to learn to wait. Sometimes, doing nothing is the best move.

Admit mistakes. Holding on stubbornly is a countdown to liquidation. I’ve seen too many people lose everything because they think, "I just don’t believe it will drop again," and end up broke.

Ultimately, small funds rely on time and discipline accumulation, not emotional impulsiveness. Treat every trade as tuition or a lesson; attitude determines outcome.

The words are good, but is it true that from January to February, going from 10U to 1000U? Why do I feel like I've been playing for half a year and still haven't made any progress?

A 100x leverage sounds exciting, but those who truly dare to do it and survive until 1000U are probably one in ten thousand.

This theory sounds very clear, but in actual practice, very few people can really stick to the third stage.

That's right, only by sticking to discipline can we survive.

Sounds good, but in practice, 99% of people get stuck at the greed stage.

That's quite right, but these newbies are always thinking about getting rich overnight, and no one really listens.
