Recently, I came across an interesting Bitcoin options strategy—some traders are running covered call strategies. At the end of January and February, they set strike prices at 98,000 and 100,000 respectively, and issued a total of 2,500 BTC worth of call options, collecting over 40 BTC in premiums.

The core logic of this approach is quite clear: as long as the spot price doesn't break through 98,000, they can keep the entire premium. But the risk is also evident—if Bitcoin surges past 100,000, they will have to sell their holdings at a loss.

In simple terms, this is a trade-off between steady income and potential price appreciation. It’s suitable for holders who expect short-term sideways movement or slight upward trends.
