Altcoin market is setting up for a potential run. Multiple factors are aligning favorably right now. Liquidity is flowing back into the market, and interest rate cuts appear to be on the horizon. You can see volatility starting to compress—that's typically a sign of something building beneath the surface. This is textbook altseason territory.
Capital has always followed a predictable path through crypto markets. It starts with Bitcoin making moves, then rotates into Ethereum, followed by large-cap altcoins gaining traction, and finally trickling down to smaller-cap projects. We're currently early in that cycle. The groundwork is being laid, and timing could be critical for traders positioning ahead of this potential shift.

The idea of compressed volatility is coming up again. Is this how the explanation always goes?

According to the capital flow model in the white paper, this narrative logic is actually full of flaws. Volatility compression does not equal bottom accumulation. Historical data shows a false positive rate of up to 47%. It is recommended to first review the 2021 market cycle benchmarking analysis before drawing conclusions.

The compression volatility is coming, and small-cap coins should really take off now, right?

Damn, is it really happening this time? Every time I say it's the bottom, I end up losing everything.

Volatility compression is indeed a cliché, but it always works well.

Volatility compression... Uh, I feel like I hear this set of explanations in every cycle.

Here comes another bullish call for altseason. This argument has to be made every bull run.
