Zcash Falls into Internal Governance Turmoil: Core Development Team Leaves En Masse

Privacy coin project Zcash recently made a major internal announcement— the entire development team has chosen to leave collectively. The timing of this "internal conflict" is particularly intriguing: it coincides precisely with the market beginning to reassess the privacy sector, as top institutions and industry thought leaders are actively discussing "privacy as the next hotspot for cryptocurrencies."

The irony of the timing is self-evident. As private transactions and privacy protection gradually become market consensus, the privacy projects that are highly anticipated are experiencing a loss of core talent. This is not merely a personnel change but may also reflect deeper issues within the project related to governance, incentives, or vision.

For investors paying close attention to the privacy sector, this internal turmoil warrants careful observation. The project's stability and execution capability often determine whether it can seize market opportunities.

This timing is really too perfect; when the opportunity comes, everyone is gone. What does it mean when the team runs away? Governance really has issues. Zcash is done for now; the privacy track is rising, but it’s self-destructing with internal conflicts. Holy shit, the core developers have all left? How is this project supposed to continue? The promised next big trend was privacy, but the project split itself first, haha. This is what you call catching the wave but missing the boat. There should still be opportunities in privacy, but it definitely won't be Zcash.

honestly the timing on this is too perfect to be coincidence... privacy gets hot, zcash devs just bounce? smells like deeper algorithmic dysfunction in their governance model tbh

Wow, Zcash is committing suicide. The trend is coming, and you're breaking up instead?

A typical unfinished project, it fell apart just as the trend arrived.

The typical "when the wind blows, the project collapses," on-chain data speaks volumes... The key behind this wave of layoffs is the flow of funds, and the distribution of chips must have changed long ago.

This timing is just too perfect. The team disbands as the trend arrives? LOL --- It's another governance issue. ZEC is really disappointing. --- What does it mean when core developers run away... the project itself is probably toxic. --- Privacy coins are finally about to rise, and then they start fighting among themselves. Ridiculous. --- I knew it. The biggest risk for projects like this is losing people's trust. Don't hold your breath. --- When will the development team all run away together? It's time to wake up.

This timing is just too perfect. Privacy coins are about to take off, but Zcash collapsed first... What does a collective run mean? Either the funds weren't enough, or the outlook is unclear. Anyway, it's unlikely they're just wanting to gamble along with the project. If you ask me, this might be the chance for Monero to overtake...

This is a classic case of bad timing. The wind is coming, but the team has already dispersed. --- Mass resignation? It indicates internal problems that have just now been exposed. --- The privacy coin sector is heating up, but Zcash is falling behind—ironic. --- Poor governance and inadequate incentives—who's to blame? Blame the management. --- I just want to know who will take over this mess next. --- Team departure = seeing no future, this signal is too obvious. --- Taking off at the peak, then self-destructing... hilarious. --- Blame no one but the fact that no one wants to stay here, either because the pay is low or the vision is too vague. --- The privacy sector is heating up, Zcash is cooling down—this move is perfect. --- Instead of waiting for the wind to turn, it's better to see who can stabilize people's hearts.
