Those iconic ICOs that changed the crypto market are now textbook-level early opportunities.

When Binance Coin launched its ICO in July 2017, the price was only $0.10/BNB, and the maximum participation was less than 2,700 BNB—how many times would that investment grow today? The story of Solana is similar; during the Dutch Auction in March 2020, the SOL price was only $0.22, and now it’s a thing of the past.

Ethereum, even earlier, had an ICO in September 2014 at $0.31/ETH. Those brave enough to invest 2000 ETH at that time witnessed the explosion of the entire industry. The TRON project also started with an ICO in September 2017, and investors who knew how to identify talent and strategize were already on the fast track to wealth.

The starting point of every historic project is not from a high price—what matters is whether you have the vision to discover it and the courage to participate.

Bought Ethereum at $0.31, and just looking at it now keeps me awake... That group of people really just got a free win.

It's always the same story; the rearview mirror is always 20/20. How many people who bought back then have actually held until now? They've probably cut their losses at every peak, haha.

It's really hard to say when it comes to vision. What happened to those who threw 2000 ETH back then? Are they still around?

Medical records show that a common clinical manifestation of this type of retrospective article is — survivor bias syndrome. BNB, ETH, and SOL have indeed risen, but what’s invisible are the piles of dead projects at zero price. Checking liquidity indicators reveals that the proportion of early participants who can exit unscathed is actually less than 5%, and capital outflow symptoms are fully exposed during bear markets. The key question is: are there still such opportunities now? Or are we just telling stories to the next round of bagholders? It is recommended to regularly review your risk warning mechanisms and not be hijacked by narratives that claim to be "visionary" at the expense of rationality.
