Google has launched an AI inbox for Gmail, which includes sections for "Suggested To-Do Items" and "Topics to Watch" to summarize important emails and updates. The company has also introduced an AI overview feature in Gmail Search, supporting natural language queries, and launched a "Proofreading" tool to assist users with writing. These AI features are initially available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscription users, are optional, and process data in a separate environment. Previously paid features like "Help Me Write" are now also available to all users.
