Central banks will eventually face up to the limitations inherent in traditional assets like gold and Bitcoin. When that reality sets in, they'll need to explore a completely different cryptographic framework—one they can manage on their balance sheet, maintain full fungibility with, and actively trade. The hunt for controllable digital currencies that meet these criteria will likely shape monetary policy and financial markets for years to come.

Basically, the central bank still has to create its own currency in the end. Anyway, gold and Bitcoin are both out of the picture.

The central banks ultimately have to face reality. Gold, Bitcoin, and these things can't really contain their ambitions. When the time comes, it will be a chaotic battle of various controllable digital currencies. Whoever can hold the discourse wins. To put it simply, it's still a power game. We're just spectators watching the show.

CBDC is something we will play with sooner or later. Let's just wait and see how the central bank manipulates it.

The central bank's own digital currency is enough; why bother messing around with Bitcoin?

The central bank ultimately has to develop CBDC; this wave is really unavoidable. But we retail investors need to think clearly—what they want is control, and what we want is freedom... How to resolve this contradiction?

The central bank is developing its own digital currency. Basically, it's still trying to keep encryption locked up.
