Recently, the crypto community has started discussing the prophecy that BTC will surge to one million dollars. Interestingly, a well-known prediction post also made this claim and even mentioned a ten-thousand-fold increase by 2026.😂

This matter sounds a bit mysterious: a bunch of seemingly independent forecasts all arrive at the same conclusion. Either there is some unseen pattern we haven't discovered, or everyone is just validating each other's predictions, falling into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Honestly, seeing these prediction posts flying everywhere, I feel both hopeful and skeptical. Hopeful because what if the prediction is actually correct, and skeptical because such a "hundred-thousand-fold" increase is logically quite far-fetched. Although the historical volatility of the crypto market is outrageous, within the entire market cap system, it's really hard to say.

But on the other hand, this kind of discussion reflects a fairly strong market consensus on the long-term outlook for BTC. The figure of one million dollars, which was a pipe dream a few years ago, is now being considered by more and more people. This shift in mindset itself is worth observing.
